El hombre parado frente al burro era José Medina. Solía trabajar en una finca perteneciente a la familia de los Márquez. El burro pertenecía a la finca y el llevaba el burro al pueblo para que los Marinos se retratasen encima del burro por algunos dólares. Su hijo Victorino aparece en la foto detrás del oficial. Circa 1910-1920.
The man standing in front of the donkey is José Medina. He used to work in a farm belonging to the Márquez family. The donkey belonged to the farm and he use to bring to town so the Marines could take pictures on the donkey for a fee. His son Victorino appears on the photo in the officers back.. Circa 1910-1920.
